April Fool's Day is otherwise known in my house as Jason's Birthday. He turned 32 this year. We didn't plan a great big party but I did notice he kind of celebrated all week. Monday night included a trip to the gun range with some friends, Thursday night included a poker game night with some buddies, and Friday night was a Pizza and Game night at Care Group. Then today was filled with a whole day's worth of activities. To the birthday boy's wishes, here's what we planned for the day. First we were to go out to eat at Cracker Barrell. Jason loves to get the Country Boy breakfast which is over medium eggs, grits, biscuits and turkey sausage. Just ask his accountability partners, he get the same breakfast every other Monday morning. Next, we were to go to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, followed by lunch at No Way Jose Mexican Cantina in Gatlinburg, then a quick trip to Bass Pro Shops. To my amazement we actually were able to do everything he wanted. With three kids in tow, and one still nursing, it's hard to make plans and actually complete them.
We all had a blast. God blessed us with a beautiful sunny and warm day (high in the upper 70's). Thanks to GrandMommy and GrandDaddy Hill (Jason's parents) we used Andrew's birthday money for the aquarium trip. This was a great present! Memories were made with a family trip that Andrew loved, not on a toy that he might play with here and there, break and throw away. Ethan was barely out of the van tonight before asking if he could go back again. Hannah's eyes were as big as saucers today. Too much to see and do.

A highlight for Andrew was noticing the new Dinosaur museum on the ParkWay in Pigeon Forge. It's definately on our checklist for another trip. He was screaming so loud with excitement that he woke Hannah up. The helicopter rides, airplane museum, miniature golf, and race cars overwhelmed the boys with a deep desire to DO IT ALL.
Here are some pictures of our day. We loved the "van ride home pictures" of all three children zonked from the day. It was the only time that I actually got a picture of Ethan in focus because he was still.
