Under the weather

To our joy, Hannah stayed in her "Little Lambs" class last Sunday for the entire time. Of course, she cried and cried for a while, but finally perked up after getting Cheerios to eat. Now I felt excited and looked forward to days of worshipping and listening to a sermon without a baby's interruption. But I forgot one major thing- the illness factor. Passing along viruses. With 20+ babies in one classroom and 5 adults, the runny noses, colds, stomach bugs, etc run rapid.

On Monday night Hannah became sick. This was no ordinary stomach bug. This little girl vomited through the night and most of Tuesday. At the 24 hour mark she seemed to be on the mend, then Thursday morning came her second round. This time with diarrhea. It's no fun thing to have a baby sick like this. But what I wasn't prepared for was the transfer of this mean little bug to me! I've been wiped out since Thursday and last night, Ethan seemed to start getting the same symptoms.

To our disappointment, Hannah, Ethan and I will be missing our yearly camping trip with our Care Group. The boys have been counting down the days. This was going to be the first year that their friends from the care group came too. In all there were going to be 8 little ones going. So please pray for us! A quick recovery would be great and that Jason and Andrew don't get it too.
