Break from blogging

Sorry that I haven't posted anything new lately. I've been busy getting ready for school. Andrew starts kindergarten August 14! So I'm in final prep mode to get the playroom ready. Last weekend, Jason (with a little help from me) tore down the wet bar. We spent the weekend cleaning up. We have a few more things to do before it is finished but are pleased with the progress. I even found two bookshelves at a garage sale Saturday that will look great in the new "schoolroom" area. They are real wood in great condition and only need a new color applied to them. It's an medium wood stain, a style that seems dated now. After researching out my old Pottery Barn Kids magazines. We found the perfect color for them- a dark brick red. I can't wait to show you all the finished room, maybe in a few weeks we'll be there.
