The pillow discovery

Since Hannah's birth almost 15 months ago, she has been an easy baby to put to bed that is until her birthday. Something changed around May 6, she instantly became a screaming baby at bedtime. So for months now, Jason and I have rocked her, drugged her (thinking it was tooth pain) and let our bed become the "family bed." Too many nights now, Hannah has gladly slept between her Mommy and Daddy. Well, this week I gave her one of the pillows from my bed for her to sleep on in her crib. Amazingly, that was the trick. She's back. Our sweet little girl is back to laying down in her crib without complaining and will fall asleep almost instantly on her pillow. Do you realize that that is God's grace and mercy in our lives? He answered our prayers! Praise God! Now, I'm ready for a good night's sleep.

That worked pretty well for us, too, with our girls. We had them both in bed with us for several months and that got really old! If you think one baby in bed with you is an interruption of sleep, try 2 babies!! We put blankets in their beds that we had slept with and that did the trick. Now, they still cry a little when we put them to bed, but they are old enough to comfort each other now. Praise God for yours and Jason's good night's sleep!
