Sunday December 3 was Ethan's 4th birthday. Thanks to everyone who called to wish him happy birthday! He loved it. Especially when Aunt Melissa and the cousins called to sing happy birthday. His mouth was hanging to the floor and his eyes were as big as saucers.
We had a fun afternoon with his three buddies, Mason, Phillip, and big brother Andrew. We played freeze dance with the radio, a "Hills" version of hide and seek, decorated cupcakes, ate ice cream, ate pizza for dinner, built a fire and more. The "Hills" version of hide and seek is called Turkey and the Hunters. All the little boys had their play guns and one person is the turkey. The turkey hides somewhere in the house while the hunters count to 10. Then the hunters go hunting for the turkey. But the turkey has to give location hints to the hunters by calling out, "gobble, gobble, gobble!" They had so much fun hunting after the biggest turkey in the group.... me!
And the best present award goes to.... drum roll please.... ANDREW! He drew him a picture that he worked very hard on, wrapped it, hid it, then was thrilled to give it to him. It was just precious.
