Frequently, the kids each get to go out with Jason on what we call "Daddy Date Nights." They are a time set aside for Jason and each child to spend together doing something special with the goal of deepening their relationship and communication. This month was a double date for Ethan and Andrew as they went to play Putt-Putt golf.
They had a blast. On the front 9, Andrew only lost to Jason by one stroke but on the back 9 he tied him! He was so proud of himself and his little score card that he couldn't stop looking at it and comparing hole for hole what he did verses Jason. Ethan did as well as a four old should do, about 20 strokes more than Jason and Andrew.
Hannah and I had a great Mommy and daughter night too. We went for a walk around the neighborhood then enjoyed some ice cream, watched American Idol together and read books before bed.
