Our last kindergarten field trip

Today we went to the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge. It's another kids' favorite! I'm starting to wonder whether our next house should be in Oak Ridge. We're starting to really love that city. This museum is in an old elementary school. Each classroom had been transformed to a new kids play area. There was the rain forest room, puppet room, space room, grannies' attic, the dollhouse, train room, international room, 1930's room, bird room, and many more. Every room was kid friendly. It was made for kids to play and PLAY HARD! We loved it! My favorite was the humongous dollhouse. Everything was proportioned to seem like the kids were the grownups. It was complete with fridge, backyard, sink, and a real working doorbell. This place is a little hidden gem worth traveling to see. We'll go back again in the fall for a 1st grade school trip.
