Yesterday was my 36 week check-up and ultrasound. I have a whopping BIG boy in my belly. But anyone who sees me knows that that's true! First of all, he is healthy and looking great. He is estimated to be about 6 lbs and 11 oz. RIGHT NOW! He should gain about a 1/2 a pound a week and if I go the full 40 weeks, that would mean he'd be bigger than Hannah, just above 8 lbs.
My OB/GYN said that she will not induce before the new year. Jason's disappointed about not getting the tax break and saving money by not having to shell out next year's deduction. But we know God is sovereign and everything happens by the will of Him and in HIS perfect timing.
Have you heard the old wives tale that talks about pregnant women who have heartburn seem to have babies with lots of hair? Well I read recently that there was a true medical study done about this and the results indicated that that tale is true. Just telling you this because my latest theory is that this boy will have hair like Hannah. He's been giving me heartburn almost daily for the last few weeks. And guess what? The ultrasound tech showed me his full head of hair on the screen yesterday. REALLY! I'm not joking.

Maybe you'll go into labor on your own....! Sounds like my Benjamin has some competition in the weight department. :)
NOOOOOOOO! I'm sure your BIG Benjamin will take the trophy for biggest boy. My 5 ft.1 in. body does not want to deliver a 9lb. boy. I'd rather have a 7 pounder or less baby but it looks like he wants to beat out his siblings.
