Here are some pictures from our annual "tree trimming party." Every year, we all go out as a family and pick our Christmas tree. Normally we go to Lowe's because it's the fastest and cheapest place for us but one year we'll make it out to the real Christmas tree farm in East Knoxville and cut down our own tree, maybe next year.
After all the hard work is done, we enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, roast marshmallows over the fire and listen to Christmas music. Each year the kids get to take a turn at putting the star on the top of the tree. Here's a picture of Jason lifting Hannah up to do the honors this year. She was the brave one. Ethan really wanted to put it up too but he screamed like a little girl when Jason lifted him up. What's sad is that this year we ended up choosing our smallest tree and Ethan was still scared of being hoisted above Jason's head to put the star on top.

Oh how fun! I haven't put a tree up this year because of all the rennovations, so this makes me a wee bit envious! Have a good week and a Merry Christmas. (Look for your card in the mail)
