Here's how we rang in the New Year. This year was our stay at home and stay warm year. With my due date so close and not feeling up to par we ate dinner at home first. Then Jason built us a fire and he pulled out his dusty old guitar for us. He prepared a huge assortment of worship songs for us to sing. The kids loved it! Especially since the songs were all from their favorite Praise and Worship CD collection called "Seeds." Hannah's just learning the words now too and can even do the motions that they have taught at church. It was very cute to see her "acting" out the song. Then we bundled them up in their coats and slippers over their pajamas and headed outside to light a few fireworks, mostly sparklers. It's one of their favorite things to do at nighttime. We only lasted a few minutes before we all looked like Rudolphs and headed back inside to warm up and go to bed.
