


Ethan just finished up his first soccer season a week ago and we got to celebrate at the end of the season pizza party. All the team players are given special awards from the coaches. Ethan's was "Captain Goalie." He just seems to fit in that position. Even when he was allowed to play offense, he'd stay back and hover instead of running with the ball to the goal. The season finished with no goals scored by Ethan but many, MANY goals saved as the goalie. I'll never forget the diving sideways catch in the air he did at one of his first games. Also, this season taught us to never forget that head bumps can lead to trips to the hospital for stitches. I'm still working on that scar (applying essential oils to make it go away).
