Here's my latest find. As I was working in my window boxes this week, I stumbled upon a purple finches' nest. The first day that I was cleaning out the boxes, I saw one egg in the nest. The next day that I planted new flowers in them, I saw two eggs. The kids are sooooo excited! It's been a few years since we've had a nest in our window boxes and got to see babies being born and learn how to fly. This time, the kids are begging for me to keep them forever in our house as soon as they hatch.
