I'll never forget this day. I was on my last leg of a 3 mile run on the treadmill. I had half a mile left. Hannah had just come in to talk to me about something that I don't even remember but in those last few minutes, chaos occurred. She sat on the floor of the playroom scissors in hand and proceeded to start chopping it all off. She chopped her bangs almost to nothing and her left side to a very short bob. There was enough hair sitting on the floor that when she held it, it looked like a birds' nest. Ethan's part? He watched her cut it first then joined in cutting too sharing one pair of scissors. Why? Because "I thought she needed help" he said and I quote.
By God's grace I just gasped in horror like McCauley Culkan on Home Alone upon entering the playroom. I grabbed the camera and started taking pictures of the guilty while giving a very stern lecture. The pictures are definately worth a thousand words. After Caleb woke up from his nap, we headed over to the salon but they were booked. Probably good. Jason would get to see her hair when he arrived home from work. His response? He thought that she looks like a little red neck from America's funny home videos. So we're waiting for our lunch time appointment today at the grown up salon. Hopefully the reverse bob with bangs look will look cute on her again. That's what she had when she was 2. I'll post after pictures soon.
