Veteran's Day Parade

My ABSOLUTE favorite school day of the year is with out a doubt Knoxville's Veteran's Day Parade! Every year we try to go and come back thankful that we went. This year the kids stocked up on balloons, pinwheels, 8 American flags and enough candy to fill a ziploc bag all from the veterans and people in the parade. I was able to get a few pictures this year and LOVE the airplanes' fly-over shot.

If you want to learn a few neat tidbits about soldier's tanks, equipment and such, make sure you go with Andrew. He was even teaching the grown men around us the names of the tanks, guns, and equipment. He even pointed out to me an AR that a soldier was carrying that Jason owns. Good eyes that boys has, well, except when the sun is shining on him and he doesn't have his sunglasses on. :)
