Strawberry picking

This morning we headed out to pick strawberries with our friends, the Boyles. We picked 15 pounds to make jams again and ice cream again. My sweet friend Emily invited us back to her home for lunch, time to can, and even made the most delicious strawberry pie for us. I have never been a big fan of strawberry pie until today, she made the BEST! We'll probably head back for more berries next week. I need to get about 45 more pounds to make enough jams to last until next May. I'll be canning for weeks just in time for the start of summer break.
