Independence Day 2012

We enjoyed our fourth of July holiday by working on our latest house project then topped the night with swimming and grilling out with friends.   Jason worked on the closets first. We took one huge, under the stairs, walk-in closet and split it into two closets.  One was for Andrew's room turning our office into a true fourth bedroom.  The other was a second pantry for me.  Double win!

Here is a picture of my second pantry.  I can't wait to fill it with yummy home canned goods.

Caleb swam so hard that he crashed when we got home.  He locked his door when changing into his pj's, crawled into bed with the light on and fell into a deep sleep. I had to pop the lock with a butter knife to see what he was doing.  Every one else was outside enjoying the fireworks while he slept soundly through it. Look how precious he looked snuggled with his tiger cat and sucking his thumb.
