At Andrew's insistence, I am going to start updating the blog again. So here's a quick update from some camp.
Andrew's Boy Scout summer camp was the 2nd week of June. His troop went east this year towards Johnson City and stayed at Camp Davy Crockett. It was a wet, very wet, actually soaking wet week for them. He did have fun except for the knife accident that occurred on Day 3 of 7. Thankfully no stitches were needed. It has healed up well but we're still waiting for all those mosquito bites to go away.
Andrew earned many merit badges this year. He earned Leatherworking, Space and Exploration, Swimming, First Aid and more. We all missed him at home that week, and even the YMCA employees asked about him every day when I arrived in the mornings without him. We're thankful he had a good time but I for one am glad he's home. Now, we send Ethan off to camp this coming Sunday, July 14. Fun times!
