On Saturday morning, we all headed out to Oneida, TN about an hour and 15 min. north of Knoxville to see a HUGE air show. It was a free event with over 7,000 people there. Andrew was on cloud 9! If you know him at all, you know that he LOVES war planes and will talk for days about them. At the show, he got to see all his favorites fly, land and up close and personal. His absolute favorite one was the Thunderbolt. This war plane is one that Jason is making a model of right now with him. We saw a DC-3 drop 11 parachuters out and even some old war planes that flew right over us before landing. We had a great time except for the terrible burned faces, necks and arms that Andrew and I got. It was a chilly morning up there and I forgot to put sunscreen on us. So Andrew and I look like raccoons with our sunglass burns while Jason, Ethan, and Hannah got darker.
