Caleb turned 1 month old on Friday the 15th. Lately, we've been experiencing some difficulty getting the newborn diapers to stretch around his big fat tummy and realized that it was time to go up to size 1 diapers. So on Tuesday I purchased a BIG box of size 1-2 diapers from Sam's, all 246 of them. I thought that we'd be told he weighed about 9 1/2 pounds at his check up. But no!!!!!!!!!!!!! This little oinker gained 3 pounds in three weeks and grew 2 inches. He's now 11.4 pounds and 22 1/2 inches long. That's 4 pounds away from exceeding the size 1 diaper limit. He jumped from the 75% in height and weight to over 90%. Do you see why I am having to supplement with formula? This little boy has a bottomless pit and eats every 2 hours. Dr. Glover said that he looks great. I still say that he came out overdone. His hair is so long it hangs over his collar, his nails were so long that they had grown over the edge of his fingertips and he's just huge. My back is already starting to hurt. He's well on his way to beating all his siblings' growth records. Maybe he'll be my tallest and biggest boy. Those brothers of his better watch out!

Caleb is already bigger than Benjamin in weight. He's still got a 1/2 inch on him in height!
Goodness! What a big boy! Good thing Sam's sells the size 1-2 combo and that you didn't buy 246 diapers in size 1! You would have to sell them on Craig's list!
Do you have a baby sling? That is a tremendous help for your back. I can make you one if you don't have one and want one.
