School's Out

Yipee! I closed the books on the 2007-2008 school year this week! I officially graduated a first grader and will start next year with two pupils, a kindergartner and a second grader. Please be praying for an easy transition because I covet your prayers and will need them!

BTW, our school name is now Hill Academy, just for fun you know. The boys couldn't come to an agreement on one school mascot so we will have two next year. We will have the 2nd grade Tigers and the Kindergarten Jets. I think I should make up some t-shirts as a joke. The boys would love them!

So, who wants to play with the Hill clan now that we're officially school free for about 3 months?

I'm looking at my calender now so we can plan a play date!! I was homeschooled from K-2nd grades and we called my school "The Juniper School" named after the street where we lived. Of course, the juniper was the official school tree and, I guess, the mascot. When I went to public school in the 3rd grade, my dad made out this really neat "diploma" for me and we even had a graduation ceremony complete with a piano recital and singing. It's so great to make things like this fun for kids.
