Hannah's belated birthday gift

Jason loves his "baby girl" Hannah! Enough to give in and say yes that she could get a kitten for her birthday even though he does NOT like cats. We searched around for an orange tabby for over a month and found a free one yesterday that had just been weaned from her mommy. She's only 6 weeks old which put her birthday close to Hannah's.

The kids are still debating on names, Molly being the #1 choice and Sally #2. She's tiny! So tiny she's getting lost behind things. She has instantly received 4 crazy fans. They've been fighting over her since we put her in the van to take her home. The kids spent last night sleeping on the floor beside her while she slept on a towel in a box. They just couldn't sleep. Ethan even fell asleep with his hand in the box beside her. They woke up all night long checking on her, talking to her, playing with her. Hannah was so tired today that she fell asleep on the couch before lunch and has been there for almost 3 hours now. Molly's their new infatuation. They can't get enough of her even though we're all covered with cat scratches on our arms and hands from her climbing on us.

Here are some pixs that we've taken so far, not many. We're too busy chasing after Caleb who's chasing after her. He loves her! The picture of him crying hard is because he doesn't want Hannah to hold her. He wants her to be down on the floor so that he can get her. It's really cute. So for the next few days we're home bound enjoying our new kitten.
