Every summer my list of "to do" projects is made in early May. Then I diligently and joyfully work to complete them all before school starts again. Now I normally do NOT finish them all but do make a big dent in my list which makes me happy. Well, this summer I've got my list in hand and have employed the help of my sweet hubby to do all the woodwork projects for me.
Here's our completed summer project #1. It's a dining room window cornice board. I just watched a YouTube video called DIY: Upholstery. They taught me everything! Jason was able to make the cornice board out of extra lumber that we had in the garage. I used a 40% coupon from Joann's and purchased the fabric. All that was left to buy was L brackets and anchors. All in all our total cost for this project was under $30.00. Not bad!
So what do you think Mom? Just make a comment below and let me know if our handiwork is good enough for you and we'll make one for you next!
