Every September 1, Jason takes the kids dove hunting on opening day. This year was a little different though. Andrew got to shoot a few times but Ethan and Hannah played in the dirt like normal. All the kids are Jason's "bird dogs" and love to go hunt down the fallen dove in the field. Jason came home with this shot of Hannah cuddling one of the DEAD dove! I was horrified! This was my little girl who refused a day out to get new earrings at the mall and a manicure to go hunt down dead dove in the field. She's an official tomboy! Any suggestions on how to "inspire" my little girl to have a Mommy/Daughter Day? I'd like to have those in the years to come and let Caleb go with Jason (when he's much older). I can only dream.....
