Handel's Messiah
Every Friday afternoon since September, Andrew and Ethan have been at church learning the songs to Handel's Messiah. Yes, I DID say the M-E-S-S-I-A-H! This year, they begged and pleaded with me to let them join the kids' choir again. They really love to sing. Plus, it's an added benefit that they get to hang out with their church friends for an hour and a half and enjoy snack time too.
To any one familiar with that music, you know getting a group of kids together to learn that piece is one tough task. All their hard work is about to pay off. Their performance is going to be Sunday afternoon December 12 at 4pm. Both boys have been offered special parts in the recital. Andrew is going to be the prophet Zechariah. He has speaking parts and actually will be dressed like a prophet of old and is to start the whole recital off. Whew! Now, that's pressure. Ethan has a solo singing part. This is BIG new for the Hill boys and we wanted to invite ALL the family to come hear them if your schedules so allow and you're desiring to cheer them on.
