Dove Hunting 2012

September 1st at noon in Tennessee is opening day of Dove Season. The only reason that I know this is because I married a hunter. Jason loves to take the kids every year too. It has become a yearly tradition for them. This year was a first of sorts. It was the year that our yellow lab, Georgia was allowed to go. She is only two years old and is just growing out of the puppy stage. She was a handful at first but settled down after a little while. She just wanted to snuggle up against their backs and hide at first. The second first was that Hannah opted out of going with the boys to have a Mommy-Daughter day filled with shopping, talking, and eating out. I do believe that the two of us will greatly enjoy this tradition for years to come. I foresee Atlanta trips to Ikea and the American Girl Doll Store next year.
